Ballia, Feb. 26 -- A 25-year-old wedding guest was beaten to death by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, triggering panic among wedding attendees, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place in Ward No. 14 under the Sahatwar police station area late on Wednesday night. The victim, Mohan Rajbhar, had come to attend a wedding procession from Badsari Jagir in the Maniyar police station area to Baleur village.
After the garland exchange ceremony was completed, Mohan and his companion Vijay Rajbhar were heading towards the guest house after dinner when they were intercepted on the way.
