Ranchi, March 15 -- The weather in Jharkhand changed suddenly on Sunday afternoon, with dense clouds covering the sky and strong winds sweeping across Ranchi and nearby areas, bringing temporary relief from rising temperatures.
Light drizzle accompanied by gusty winds led to a drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in temperature, easing the prevailing heat. According to the Meteorological Department, several districts in the state are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds and lightning till March 19, prompting the issuance of a yellow alert for many areas.
