Patna, Aug. 29 -- In the wake of escalating political tensions in Bihar over the Voter Rights Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today reiterated his party's commitment to non-violence and truth.

In a statement on social media, he strongly responded to the clashes in Patna and the mounting BJP protests, saying that truth and the Constitution would prevail despite attempts to disrupt the Yatra.

"Falsehood and violence can never stand against truth and non-violence. Let them attack and destroy as much as they want we will continue to defend truth and the Constitution. Satyamev Jayate," Gandhi declared.
