Chennai, June 17 -- Former BJP leader and founder of the 'We The Leaders' movement, K.Annamalai on Wednesday said his organisation is currently a people-centric movement and not a political outfit, and hinted that it would become a political platform in future.
Speaking during a live interaction on YouTube, he clarified that the initiative was created with a focus on public welfare and grassroots participation rather than immediate electoral politics.
Annamalai said that the movement began in Aravakkurichi and has since expanded its activities to various parts of Tamil Nadu, including Karur, where organisational work is currently underway.
