Nagpur, May 25 -- Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna public sector undertaking under Coal India Limited, has unveiled its independent corporate logo for the first time, marking a significant step towards strengthening its modern identity and brand image, a press release said here today.
Established in 1975 and headquartered in Nagpur, WCL plays a key role in meeting the country's energy requirements through coal production in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The company said it has built a strong presence over the years in mining operations, employee development, sustainability and community welfare, though it had not possessed an independent corporate logo until now.
