Kolkata, Aug. 31 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will on Tuesday chair a high-level meeting at Swasthya Bhavan to review the state's dengue situation, with 4,035 cases reported till August 19 and seven confirmed dengue deaths, a senior health department official said.
The toll rises to 10 if deaths involving patients who tested positive for dengue are included.
The meeting, scheduled for 5 pm, will bring together the commissioners of the Kolkata and Howrah municipal corporations, executive officers of 21 municipalities, and senior officials from the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Transport and Irrigation departments. Railway officials have also been asked to attend.
