Kolkata, Aug. 7 -- At first glance, archery and cricket may seem to have little in common. But for one of India's rising archers, an Australian cricketer has provided an unexpected source of inspiration ahead of the Asian Games 2026.
For Sahil Jadhav, it was a book written by former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson that helped him look at the mental side of competition differently.
"I started reading a book called 'The Winner's Mindset' by Shane Watson around a month ago. My initial intent was to reduce the time I spent scrolling my phone. However, I have received valuable knowledge on how to deal with pressure and keep myself focussed during competitions," Jadhav said.
