Dharamshala, June 27 -- Emergency and life-saving surgical services will continue at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital (DRPGMC), Tanda, while all elective surgeries have been temporarily postponed due to disruption in the supply of clean and treated water, the hospital administration announced on Saturday.

According to an official press note circulated by the Principal Dr. Milap Sharma this morning, the hospital initially received water that was found to be unfit for human consumption. Since Friday evening, the water supply has remained disrupted, creating serious operational challenges and affecting critical hospital services.
