Imphal, June 3 -- Residents of several localities in Imphal are likely to face temporary disruption in water supply following maintenance work being undertaken at the Mahabali intake point, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Manipur, announced on Wednesday.
According to a notification issued by the PHED, water supply from the Ningthempukhri Water Treatment Plant has been suspended due to transformer maintenance at the Mahabali intake point. The disruption has affected areas including Ningthempukhri Makha Leirak, Wangkhei St. George Leirak, Guruaribam Leirak, and localities falling under the Aribam Leikai Zonal Reservoir.
