Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring sharply criticized the Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MPs from Punjab for leaving more than 70 percent of their MP Local Area Development (MPLAD) funds unspent.
Citing figures published in a newspaper report, Warring said that the seven AAP members of the Upper House had collectively failed to utilize a major portion of the funds allotted to them for local development.
He remarked that this reflected either complete negligence or a lack of understanding of how the funds could have been effectively used for public benefit.
