Jaipur, April 4 -- A visionary move by late Australian spin legend Shane Warne during the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League has turned into a staggering financial legacy, with his family set to receive Rs 450-460 crore from the sale of Rajasthan Royals.

What began as a bold and unconventional contract clause in 2008, granting Warne a 0.75 per cent ownership stake for every season he played, has now translated into a 3 per cent stake, following his four-year stint with the franchise.
