Siliguri, April 3 -- Even as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee blamed "outsiders," along with AIMIM, ISF, the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party, for orchestrating the Mothabari incident involving the confinement of judges, BJP leaders on Friday raised counter-allegations, questioning possible links between Trinamool Congress functionaries and the arrested accused.
Union Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar asked whether there was any connection between a Trinamool minority cell leader and Mofakkerul Islam, who was arrested in connection with the incident.
