Hubballi, March 16 -- Karnataka BJP General Secretary Mahesh Tenginkai and Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday engaged in a sharp exchange over the relocation of Odisha Congress MLAs to Bengaluru ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections, with allegations of bribery and internal distrust dominating the political discourse.

Tenginkai dismissed claims that the Bharatiya Janata Party was trying to poach legislators, describing the controversy as an "internal matter" of the Congress. He also questioned Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar's decision to bring the MLAs to Karnataka.
