Itanagar, Sept. 29 -- Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu called for a region-specific approach to agricultural development in the hill state, stressing the need to integrate modern science and technology with indigenous knowledge, traditional crop varieties and local farming practices.
Wangsu was speaking at the National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi Campaign 2026 at the Bharat Ratna C Subramaniam Auditorium, NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi, in the presence of union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Ministers of State, Agriculture Ministers of states, senior officials and delegates.
