New Delhi, July 20 -- Activist and education reform campaigner Sonam Wangchuk on Monday announced that he is willing to end his indefinite hunger strike if three key assurances are provided by the government and political leadership regarding his demands on education reforms and the alleged NEET paper leak.
In a handwritten note issued from Safdarjung Hospital, Wangchuk said he would discontinue his fast only after his conditions were met. He alleged that he was being kept under "illegal detention" and claimed that his movement, speech and communication had been curtailed.
