Visakhapatnam, May 3 -- The Waltair Division of East Coast Railway (ECR) today announced it has initiated a series of passenger-friendly measures in view of rising temperatures and increased summer travel demand.
Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra directed officials, supervisors, and frontline staff to implement all necessary arrangements to ensure safe and comfortable travel during the summer months.
As part of the initiative, the division has ensured the availability of adequate packaged drinking water and potable water at all major stations.
Water booths are being regularly monitored to maintain uninterrupted supply.
