New Delhi, July 28 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Delhi government over widespread waterlogging following heavy rainfall, alleging that claims of monsoon preparedness had failed as several parts of the national capital, including Sadar Bazar and Connaught Place, were inundated.
The opposition party cited a video from Sadar Bazar, Delhi's largest wholesale market, showing schoolchildren being carried on their parents' shoulders through waist-deep water to reach school. The footage was shared by AAP Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj on social media.
