Vrindavan, Aug. 16 -- On behalf of hundreds of elderly Widows living in Vrindavan 1100 special rakhis would be presented to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi this Rakshabandhan.

The rakhis carrying colourful photographs of beloved "brother Modi jee " have been designed and crafted by a group of old widows living in various ashrams in Vrindavan.

Meanwhile, continuing to defy age-old traditions of leading a secluded life, hundreds of aged widows living in various ashrams on Sunday celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the historic Gopinath Temple, where Rakhis were decorated and packed for Modi jee.
