Vrindavan, Aug. 12 -- The world-famous ISKCON temple management has taken a major step to preserve the eternal tradition, civilisation, and sanctity of the temple.

Now it has been made mandatory for devotees to wear modest and traditional attire within the temple premises, while wearing short and indecent clothing is strictly prohibited.

In this regard, the management has also installed boards at the temple entrances detailing the rules and regulations.

According to the new guidelines issued by the temple management, both male and female devotees will be prohibited from wearing sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts, half pants, and transparent clothing.
