New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan today lauded libraries as "temples of learning" that are vital for nurturing critical thinking and empowering individuals and communities.
In a video message delivered at the International Conference on "Libraries Empowering Communities - Global Perspectives" in Thiruvananthapuram, the Vice-President commended the P N Panicker Foundation for its persistent efforts in boosting reading culture and digital literacy.
"Libraries are dynamic spaces of learning, inclusion, and innovation," Radhakrishnan stated. He emphasized their crucial role as knowledge hubs that provide people with access to authentic information and are essential in countering misinformation.
