Chennai, Sept. 5 -- Starting a newspaper and publishing it is very difficult. But even more difficult is maintaining neutrality, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan said on Saturday.
He released a commemorative postage stamp to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Tamil daily Dinamalar in Chennai and said newspaper can earn and retain the trust of the people only when it stands firm against pressures and continues to uphold higher values such as patriotism and public service without fear and Dinamalar's work over the past 75 years has established such a bond of trust with its readers.
