Siliguri, March 6 -- BJP leader and Darjeeling MP Raju Bista on Friday sought the intervention of the Election Commission over concerns surrounding the recently published electoral roll in the state.
Bista has written to Manoj Kumar Agarwal, the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, raising issues related to the Final Electoral Roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, which was published on February 28.
In his communication, it has been stated that numerous complaints and representations were received from constituents after the publication of the final electoral roll.
