Kolkata, March 1 -- At a time when the ruling All India Trinamool Congress has been alleging unchecked deletion of voters during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, official data released by the Election Commission of India shows that of West Bengal's 294 Assembly constituencies, voter numbers have increased in at least 82 seats compared to the draft electoral roll.
After the completion of the 116-day-long SIR process, the Election Commission on Saturday published the first phase of the final electoral roll.
