Lucknow, April 30 -- After a lengthy discussion in the one-day special session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on women's empowerment, a voice vote of condemnation was passed against the parties opposing the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment Bill.

The session was then adjourned sine die with the national anthem.
