Visakhapatnam, Oct. 15 -- Visakhapatnam Range Inspector General of Police Gopinath Jetti on Thursday reviewed police preparedness for the upcoming local body elections with Superintendents of Police (SPs) of six districts and directed them to take preventive measures to ensure peaceful and fair polling.
The review meeting was held through video conference with Alluri Sitarama Raju district SP Amit Bardar, Polavaram district SP K. Chakravarthi, Anakapalli district SP Tuhin Sinha, Vizianagaram district SP A.R. Damodar, Parvathipuram Manyam district SP Madhav Reddy and Srikakulam district SP K.V. Maheswar Reddy.
