Visakhapatnam, Sept. 7 -- Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Monday warned officials that negligence or delay in resolving petitions received through the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) would not be tolerated.
The Commissioner personally participated in the PGRS programme at the Gajuwaka Zonal Office along with Zonal Commissioner B.R.S. Seshadri and officials from various departments and directly received 41 petitions from citizens.
Of the 41 grievances, 11 each were related to Town Planning and Engineering, five each to Revenue and Water Supply, four to Public Health, three to UCD, and one each to Zonal Administration and the Electrical Department.
