Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 25 -- A spectacular rangoli portraying Lord Krishna revealing his Vishwaroopam to Arjuna has emerged as a major attraction at Kanakakkunnu, one of the key venues of the Onam Tourism celebrations organised by the Kerala Tourism Department.
The large artwork has been created by Niruba Sathish, librarian at the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS), who has been practising rangoli art for nearly three decades.
Tourism, Cinema and Culture Minister P.C. Vishnunadh said the Onam celebrations this year have been planned with a strong emphasis on Kerala's traditional art forms and cultural heritage.
