Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- Local favourite Vishesh Sharma held his nerve in a dramatic final round to claim his maiden professional title at the Rs 1 crore Telangana Golconda Masters at the Hyderabad Golf Association on Friday.
The 19-year-old carded a one-under 69 in the final round to finish at 21-under 259, edging Noida's Amardeep Malik by one stroke. Vishesh, who is in his second season on the DP World PGTI, earned Rs 15 lakh with the victory.
The win lifted Vishesh from 25th to 14th in the 2026 Order of Merit, taking his season earnings to Rs 30,93,550 and securing his place in the DP World India Championship.
