Visakhapatnam, May 26 -- Visakhapatnam will host the southern regional edition of the prestigious 'World Food India' Summit on July 9 and 10, with participation from southern states and union Territories, officials said on Tuesday.
The summit will be organised at the Andhra University Engineering College grounds, bringing together stakeholders from the food processing, food technology, exports and investment sectors.
Officials said Andhra Pradesh would host the event while Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) would act as the nodal agency.
Representatives from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Puducherry and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to participate in the summit.
