Visakhapatnam, Oct. 2 -- Visakhapatnam should strive to achieve international cleanliness standards and emerge as a global city through collective efforts by citizens, public representatives and officials, MP M. Sri Bharat and District Collector M. Abhisikth Kishore said on Friday.
Addressing the district-level Swachh Andhra Awards presentation ceremony at the VMRDA Children's Arena on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, they said public participation was essential to make the city cleaner and improve sanitation standards.
