Thiruvananthapuram, March 11 -- Viral sensation Monalisa Bhosle approached the Thampanoor Police Station in Thiruvananthapuram along with her boyfriend, Farman Khan, seeking assistance after facing opposition from her family over their relationship.
Monalisa, a native of Indore, had travelled to Thiruvananthapuram for the shooting of a Malayalam film when the issue surfaced.
She reportedly informed the police that her family members were strongly opposing her relationship with Farman Khan and were pressuring her to marry a man chosen by them.
