Nashik, May 21 -- Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule today announced that, following the necessary amendments to the Gram Panchayat Form 8, villagers will be issued free property cards under the 'SVAMITVA' scheme, and the associated 'Sanad' (title deed) fees will be waived.
He directed the Rural Development Department to prepare a formal proposal regarding this matter and secure its necessary approval.
Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore also pledged his full cooperation to accelerate the implementation of this project.
This decision is expected to help resolve property disputes in rural areas and grant citizens legal title rights to their properties.
