Sriharikota (AP), July 18 -- "Vikram-1 Orbit achieved...history made", that's how the Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace, which designed and developed the rocket, reacted to the success of the its first test flight "Mission Aagaman" (Arrival) from the SHAR Range here on Saturday.
After a 35 minute delay due to a technical glitch, India's first privately developed orbital-class rocket, Vikram-1 was sucessfully launched in its intended orbilt in its maiden flight marking a major milestone in the country's space programme.
