New Delhi, June 27 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Saturday said that women's contribution to nation-building has been extraordinary and historic, and their participation is crucial across different sectors and issues.
Gupta, who was the chief guest at Bal Sanskar Shivir and Sampurna Mahila Haat at Rohini, stated that women have contributed in value-based education, and also community participation.
Speaker Gupta, also emphasizing on efforts for environment preservation, called for plantation of 10,000 trees in Rohini.
