Bengaluru, Aug. 28 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today accused the Congress and its allies of reducing themselves to gutter politics, saying the abusive remarks allegedly hurled at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother during the INDI Alliance's Voter Adhikar Yatra in Darbhanga reflected the opposition bloc's politics of hatred and contempt.
He said the episode was not an isolated outburst but a direct reflection of the brand of politics Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party have been spreading across the country. "Having no vision for Bihar, no answers for its youth, and no agenda for its farmers and poor, the Congress and its allies have chosen the path of abuse and personal attacks," he said.
