Bengaluru, June 4 -- Karnataka BJP president and Shikaripura MLA B Y Vijayendra on Thursday alleged that the newly formed ministry under Chief Minister D K Shivakumar bears the imprint of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and is not a cabinet shaped by Shivakumar's leadership.
Addressing reporters in Mandya, Vijayendra said Shivakumar had fulfilled his long-cherished ambition of becoming Chief Minister, but claimed that the composition of the Council of Ministers reflected Siddaramaiah's influence.
He said Siddaramaiah, before demitting office, accepted the Karnataka Backward Classes Commission report, leaving a major policy challenge before the new Chief Minister.
