Maddur, Sept. 10 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today demanded a judicial inquiry into Maddur violence, alleging that both Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the Bhadravati MLA's statements have only added fuel to the fire.

Speaking to reporters here, Vijayendra said police failures must be exposed and insisted that only a judicial investigation could bring out the truth. "We have discussed the matter with opposition leaders and prominent figures. We will also take part in the procession and stand firmly with Hindu organisations and activists," he said.
