Bengaluru, Aug. 16 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Sunday turned the RSS controversy into a direct challenge to the Congress government, asking Home Minister Priyank Kharge to identify any specific unlawful activity by the organisation instead of repeatedly questioning its registration status.
Vijayendra said the government must establish what offence the RSS had committed if it believed the organisation was operating illegally, and questioned whether non-registration by itself could make an organisation unlawful.
"Where is the law that says every organisation must necessarily be registered? If the RSS has committed any illegal activity, tell the people what it is and take action," he told reporters.
