Chennai, July 21 -- The first general budget of the Tamil Nadu government headed by Chief Minister Vijay would be tabled in the State Assembly on August five.
Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar told reporters here on Tuesday that the Budget session of the Assembly would commence at 1000 hrs on August five when the first budget of the TVK regime and the revised estimates for 2026-27 would be presented by Finance Minister N.Marie Wilson.
On August six, the Agriculture Budget would be tabled by Minister R Vinoth.
