Chennai, Sept. 15 -- Tamil Nadu has secured investment proposals and commitments worth more than Rs 15,300 crore during Chief Minister Vijay's ongoing visit to the United Kingdom, with the projects expected to create more than 10,000 jobs in the State.
Official sources on Tuesday saud a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between Guidance Tamil Nadu, the State's investment promotion agency, and leading global companies in the presence of Vijay in London on Monday.
The agreements cover manufacturing, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), research and development facilities and expansion of existing operations by the companies in Tamil Nadu.
