Bengaluru, Dec. 26 -- Delhi registered a thrilling seven-run win against Gujarat in the Group D match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Friday.
Star batsman Virat Kohli scored a brisk 77, while captain Rishabh Pant also posted 70 crucial runs for Delhi.
Delhi posted 254 for nine in 50 overs before dismissing Gujarat for 247 in 47.4 overs. Virat Kohli was named Player of the Match for his 77 runs in 61 balls and two catches.
Virat, who had also scored a century in the previous match, continued his form in this match.
Pant also was on song as he hit eight fours and two sixes for his 70 runs in 79 balls.
Harsh Tyagi scored 40 and Simarjeet Singh made an unbeaten 15. For Gujarat, Vishal Jaiswal took four wickets for 42 runs.
