Chennai, July 15 -- In a major boost to EV charging infrastructure, the TVK government headed bty Chief Minister Vijay has stepped up efforts to build a large-scale electric vehicle (EV) charging network, with the State government unveiling key policy initiatives aimed at accelerating infrastructure rollout and attracting private investments.
As part of its broader vision, the government is targeting the installation of 20,000 public EV charging stations by 2031, positioning Tamil Nadu as a leader in sustainable mobility.
