Chandrapur, Nov. 7 -- A video showing a tiger attacking a forest guard near a guest-house has been circulating on Instagram and other social-media platforms in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district is fake, forest officials confirmed on Friday.
Chandrapur forest department officials, after verification, have confirmed no such incident happened either in the Brahmapuri area or any other guest-house in the state.
They found the video was digitally manipulated, combining different online footage and changing the background to mislead viewers.
