Dharamshala, March 14 -- CP Radhakrishnan on Saturday while addressing the ninth convocation ceremony of Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamshala called for strengthening innovation, faculty development and academic collaboration to build a globally competitive higher education system.
The Vice President attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and conferred degrees and gold medals upon meritorious students.
Among those present on the occasion were Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta, Agriculture Minister Chaudhary Chander Kumar, Leader of the Opposition in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Jairam Thakur, Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur and Kangra- Chamba MP Rajeev Bhardwaj, along with other dignitaries.
