Samastipur, July 11 -- In a unique initiative to promote practical agricultural education, P.S. Pandey, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, personally participated in paddy transplantation alongside scientists and students at the university''s experimental farm on Saturday.
The programme, titled "Paddy Transplantation Meet," was organised to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world farming practices. Senior scientist Dr. Mayank Rai and postgraduate students also took part in the field activity.
Addressing the participants, Pandey said agricultural education should not remain confined to classrooms and laboratories.
