Nagpur, Sept. 26 -- The Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) celebrated its 63rd Foundation Day in Nagpur today, highlighting the region's emergence as a major industrial hub and recognising outstanding contributions by members, forums and key institutions.
Addressing the gathering, VIA President Prashant Mohota said the association, founded 63 years ago to provide a strong and united voice to industry in Vidarbha, now stands at a pivotal moment as the region enters a new phase of industrial growth.
He noted that Maharashtra is pursuing the vision of becoming a trillion-dollar economy through progressive industrial, textile, electronics and food-processing policies, with Vidarbha increasingly at the centre of this transformation.
