Nagpur, Feb. 12 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday underscored the importance of veterinary professionals in driving India's economic advancement, urging them to expand their vision beyond traditional roles.

He was addressing a 'National Symposium on the Role of Canine in One Health: Building Partnership and Resolving Challenges,' organised jointly in Nagpur by the Indian Society for Advancement of Canine Practice and the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University.

Highlighting the principle of harmonious coexistence, Bhagwat stressed that humans, animals and nature must function in balance.

He said society must seriously reflect on ways to ensure sustainable and equitable coexistence.
