Mumbai, June 1 -- The last rites of veteran playback singer and Padma Bhushan awardee Suman Kalyanpur was performed at Santacruz crematorium here with full state honours on Monday.

The iconic singer passed away at the age of 89 late Sunday evening at her residence in Mumbai, bringing an end to a remarkable musical journey that spanned several decades.
