Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- Veteran actor Pradeep Singh Rawat, best known for his portrayal of the antagonist in Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini, died at the age of 74, with his last rites performed in Mumbai on Wednesday, family sources said.
Rawat, who was undergoing treatment for blood cancer, breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital here late Tuesday evening, they said.
His last rites were attended by family members and several personalities from the Bollywood film industry, who paid their last respects to the veteran actor.
Rawat, who worked extensively in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil cinema, had a career spanning more than three decades. He was particularly known for his powerful performances in negative and character roles.
