Ravi SarafNew Delhi, July 16 -- Amid questions over activist Sonam Wangchuk's indefinite hunger strike, the Congress on Wednesday clarified its official position, saying it stands with Wangchuk's concerns and demands.
In a statement posted on social media, Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said the party supports Wangchuk's concerns and demands and will continue to press for the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
"Wangchuk's concerns are our concerns, and those of other Opposition parties as well," Venugopal said, assuring that the Congress would continue to demand Pradhan's resignation over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
